George will demonstrate how to pattern cut identical parts, use a shop-made circle cutting jig, cut through dovetails, and how to use a single point resaw fence. Finally, learn how to coil a blade once it's off the saw. |
| Table Saw Techniques The table saw is at the heart of most wood shops. Make sure yours is doing everything it can. First, George will cover basic tuneup techniques including blade and fence parallelism, and ensuring the blade is perpendicular to the table. Next, learn blade selection and how to make sure you are using the best blade for the job, including information on stackable and wobble dado heads. Finally, we will cover ripping and crosscutting operations, dadoes and rabbets, half lap joints, box joints, and dovetail sockets. |
| Drawer Construction George will present three great approaches for drawer joinery. You will see half-blind dovetails cut using a router-based jig, drawer lock joints on the router table, and a rabbetted drawer lock joint cut using a 1/4" slot cutter.
